TODAY’S INSPIRATION: NEW BEGINNINGS…

The month of July was fast and furious for me. However even though God did not stop the storms raging around me, He kept calming the storms raging inside of me. And this is how I made it through. It is how I will continue to persevere. I know I am not the only one who kept their focus on God regardless of what was going around them. As Paster Thomas said on Sunday, “Sometimes God calms the storms on the inside of us before He calms the storms on the outside.” I believe this to be true. Don’t focus on the adversaries, focus on God’s possibilities. And watch Him work! Rely on God, not your own strength.

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)

If you are reading this, you made it through all that has been going on in your life and the pressures of this fallen world. To God be the glory! We never would have made it without His protection and mercy, which is new every morning. He is faithful!

“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.” (Proverbs 4:25-26)

“Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” (Lamentations 3:23)

The past couple years God has been calling us to let go of “former things” so we can cling to our new identity in Christ. We must stop trying to do what the world calls “normal” and allow God to lead us into something much greater. August is the eighth month of the year. The number eight is significant such that it is used seventy-three times in the Bible. It is the symbol of Resurrection and Regeneration. I’m believing this eighth month God is going to do some great things in the life’s of those who love Him. August and the next four months of this year is going to be the best months of this year! I’m expecting God to show up and show out for His people! Get ready for God to do a new thing this month with new beginnings and an overflow of blessings! Love and blessings.

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wastelines.” (Isaiah 43:18-19)

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
