It used to be scary because I could see things or see right through a person when they were not being honest or holding back truths. In other words, lying. My mother told me I was born with an old soul and a gift from God. It has kept me out trouble for sure. But once I developed a personal relationship with Jesus, I am really learning how to use it. For instance, just because you know something, does not mean you have to say something. Sometimes it is just for you to know and prepare or protect yourself. Weather you have this gift or not, God’s truth will always prepare and protect you from deception.
When you are deceived, you are believing a lie that you think is true and it becomes your reality. The only answer to deception is truth. And the only truth is God’s Word. His truth will set you free. Free from worry, anxiety, and depression. Free from panic and ignorance. Ask God for discernment, wisdom, and knowledge. Today more than ever, we need to pray for our spiritual eyes to be opened so we will not be deceived by false prophets, or the enemies lies! We must keep our gaze on God and only glance at the world which is full of deception. We can choose to walk hand in hand with Christ who will lead and guide us. When we do this no weapon formed against us will prosper! Love and Blessings…
“As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately.“Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.” (Matthew 24:3-8)
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.” (Isaiah 54:17)
Oh, my goodness, Sister Curleen, you are talking directly to me. Life has been so overwhelming lately and it’s so easy to get distracted and surely deceived. Thanks so much for being a vessel of GOD and sharing the truth.
